Ninth Seminar “Prevention Before Prevention”
With exceptional reach, the ninth “Prevention Before Prevention” seminar, organized by Unidos Contra el Cáncer (United Against Cancer), once again establishes itself as a key platform for raising youth awareness about the risks and impact of cancer. This pioneering initiative in Chile held its first edition in November 2015, and since then, has inspired thousands of young people to educate themselves about this devastating disease, promoting an early prevention approach. This year, attendance has reached record numbers, reaffirming Unidos Contra el Cáncer’s commitment to education and prevention in schools.
9th Cancer Prevention Seminar: “Take Care of Yourself Today to Be Stronger Tomorrow”
As part of this important educational effort, Unidos Contra el Cáncer announces its upcoming prevention event, titled “Take Care of Yourself Today to Be Stronger Tomorrow,” which will take place on November 20 at 10:00 a.m. at Educator Juan Bautista de La Salle High School. This seminar will feature well-known speakers, such as nurse René Ramos and APECHO founder Camila Negrete. Organized by Claudia Flores K., UCEC’s School System Coordinator, the event aims to empower young people with information and tools for effective cancer prevention.
