On August 17, 2024, over 80 organizations marched across Chile to highlight the urgency faced by nearly 17,000 cancer patients on the waiting list. In La Serena, the march took place along Avenida del Mar, starting at the Lighthouse, where hundreds of families and organizations gathered, including Unidos Contra El Cáncer, represented by President Soledad Orrego and Treasurer Libertad Morales.
