In a show of solidarity and social commitment, the volunteer organization has donated an air purifier-sanitizer to the Shelter Home of the United Against Cancer Corporation, located in the Coquimbo Region. This donation aims to enhance the sanitization conditions in the facilities dedicated to patient care.
The donated equipment features advanced six-level filtration technology (Pre-filter, HEPA, Activated Carbon, Plasma, LED UVC Light, and NANO TiO2) and is capable of sanitizing spaces up to 60 square meters. It can also be operated remotely or via a mobile application, ensuring user convenience.
From the Shelter Home, Mrs. M. Soledad Orrego Padilla expressed her profound gratitude, emphasizing that the equipment will be extremely useful in the isolation area designated for patients undergoing Radioiodine treatment. This space, which includes two rooms and a bathroom, will benefit from more effective sanitization during and after patients’ stays, enhancing the quality of care.
The delivery of this equipment will be coordinated soon, showcasing how collaboration between institutions and organizations can positively impact the community.
With initiatives like this, the volunteer organization reaffirms its commitment to society, promoting the well-being of those who need it most.
